Guidelines for formatting and submitting articles to IJoT are available in IJoT's current issue found on our home page.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in "Comments for the Editor"). If this work has previously been published as a conference proceedings, please indicate the conference information (title, year, etc.) in the "Comments for the Editor".
- The authors agree to review three IJoT papers if their paper is published. To maintain a quality review process while avoiding charging author fees, IJoT relies on a team of volunteer reviewers. IJoT has found that past IJoT authors tend to be some of the best reviewers. Therefore we ask IJoT authors to support IJoT by reviewing 3 papers.
This requirement does not apply to authors of invited papers. - The authors are required to suggest 3 reviewers for their submissions. Please indicate the name, email and website for each reviewer in the "Comments for the Editor" below.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end or in seperate files.
